Cuvage: it’s raining gold medals at the CSWWC

Tom Stevenson, chairman of the prestigious international competition Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships, has defined the 2020 edition as a record year.

More than a thousand sparkling wine candidates from 30 countries competed for the coveted titles and medals: a real head-to-head between Italy and France this year, with 47 gold medals and 111 silver medals for Italian bubbles surpassing 2019 results.

Our Piedmontese bubbles are recognized on the world podium, for their excellence, the result of an exceptional winemaking team. The samples submitted to the judges also participate in sections of Trophies Best in Class, Best in Region and World Champion by style, the results of which will be unveiled in the first week of December.
